Is the Location of the Tattoo Important?

When wanting to start the tattoo removal process you may be thinking “does the location of my tattoo change or effect how my removal process goes?” The answer is, yes! The location of a tattoo can greatly impact the removal process. Tattoos located on the face, upper back, neck, and chest generally remove more easily due to the larger lymphatic system and red blood cell count in these areas. Since the removal process is so highly based off your body's metabolism, circulatory system and lymphatic system, tattoos located on extremities such as the hands, wrists, lower legs, and feet have less lymphatic drainage and circulation, and thus may take more sessions to completely fade away the tattoo.
